Limited to 500 pieces, the watch is true to the original with the
exception of its enormous domed sapphire crystal (they were
originally hesalite). This massive 55mm sand blasted stainess steel case was
originally designed to be worn over the flight jacket ( it got cold in those planes) and the watch comes on a special
strap made just like the original. Laco was chosen along with Wempe, IWC, and A. Lange to produce these watches for
the Luftwaffer. Unlike less expensive oversized watches, this fine timepiece is equipped with a full size,
decorated, automatic ETA movement. A true collectible, it is delivered in a numbered matching Okoume wood chest.
