This classic Jumping Hour is a treat for the eyes, The hour is displayed in the window at top center, while the minute and sub-second hand display in the conventional maner. Many of the earliest timepieces and clocks
were one handed (see Abacus watches) and were the evolutionary stepping stones to jumping hours. Toscania exhibits extraordinary design elements, embossed dials
with blued steel hands,
an artfully curved case that anatomically
hugs the wrist
and a rose gold plated winding rotor visible through the case back. The case flairs at 3 o'clock protecting the
turbine shaped
crown which mimics the design of the dial's minute track.
