This classic Jumping Hour is a

sub second hand display in the
conventional maner. Many
of the earliest timepieces and
clocks were one handed (see
Abacus watches) and were the
evolutionary stepping stones
to jumping hours. Toscania
employs extraordinary design
elements, embossed dials

blued steel hands,
an artfully
curved case that anatomically
hugs the wrist and a
rose gold
plated winding rotor visible
through the case back.
The case flairs at 3 o'clock
protecting the turbine shaped
crown which mimics the design
of the dial's central zone
(minute track).
